My aim here is to give all children a sound foundation for life through early development of their potential intellectual, social, emotional and physical skills.
The staff work as an efficient team unit at Best Friends, devoted and contributing to create a home from home environment with a good-humoured atmosphere that is reflected in the overall response and behaviour of the children.

Gemma Brown - Room Leader for Under 2's
As head of room I work in the baby room caring for the babies and toddlers. My role is to meet all the individual needs and requirements for all the children. To develop & follow routines, care for the babies which involves feeding, changing, interacting etc. As part of the baby room team we need to work alongside the Birth to Three educational framework, following planning and providing a happy, positive, stimulating environment for the babies to grow and develop.

I love to get up in the morning knowing that I go and care for children and to have fun with them. I give them the love and care that parents are not able to give whilst out at work earning a living. It’s important parents have confidence and peace of mind while they’re at work, here at “Best Friends” we make it so much fun with all the activities and play learning, it’s the early learning centre which helps parents!

I live at home with my family but will be moving out soon as I have a child of my own on the way. I have been in childcare nearly 5yrs now and love my job as it’s always different and challenging. I really enjoy watching the growth and development. I chose to work at Best Friends because I came and saw the nursery and fell in love with it. I was excited by the prospects that it held for me and the children. I think that it is a beautiful nursery and love all the extra activities that the children do

I worked with BBCC as a student for just over a year and the experience taught me a lot, that’s now helping in my profession as a practitioner and in my learning for the future as I work towards qualifying at level 3 standards. I hope to achieve and gain more qualifications and experience to help me achieve more responsibilities, and in the future become a senior member of staff.
The staff are friendly, showing many ways to encourage children and plan my own activity sessions to help educate and develop the children physically and mentally, that fit into the nursery high standards, putting childcare first is what BBCC ethos is all about.

I love being part of very welcoming team!!
My motivation is seeing children happy, seeing positive development and knowing you are part of that. I love to see children develop and learn new things, enjoying encouraging them to do so by stimulating the best possible way to help them develop new skills, good understanding to achieve new goals.

I choose BFCC because of its happy and friendly environment, within well laid out nursery that caters for every Childs individual need. BFCC works as a fantastic team always working together to plan and follow activities that promote the development of children. BFCC gives children a fun environment, welcoming them into childcare. BFCC is a great nursery with a great routine, which works extremely well!
